The Bees was a resistance group during the Darmanian civil war, led by former soldier Tomislawa Chmela. They were known for their "strike once, then die" strategy, which involved sending small groups on missions to harass the royal army, and prioritizing success before survival of the group. For this reason, the number of members varied greatly; it is estimated at least five hundred people had joined the group at various times, although there were never more than seventy members at once. By the end of the civil war, only Tomislawa, the original founder and leader of The Bees, was alive.
